Betty Jane (Sefried) Webb

Betty Jane Webb (92) of Belle Prairie, IL passed away Tuesday May 22nd, 2018 at the Hamilton Memorial Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in McLeansboro, IL.

Betty Jane (Sefried) Webb was born March 7th, 1926 the daughter of William "Bill" Sefried and Nell (Coker) Sefried.  On December 23rd, 1944 she married William Wayne Webb, who preceded her in death.

Betty was a homemaker and had worked at the Elder Manufacturing dress factory in McLeansboro.  She was an active member of the Belle Prairie Baptist Church, where she served as Treasurer for many years.

She is survived by 2 sons:  Marvin Lee Webb & wife Carmen of Opdyke, IL and Melvin Eugene Webb & wife Cathy of Belle Prairie, IL; 4 grandchildren:  Scott Webb, Larae Harris & husband Jeff, David Webb & wife Stacy, and Dana Britton & husband Matt; 5 great-grandchildren:  Dalton Miller, Dacey Webb, Andrew Webb, Trinity Britton and Haley Britton; a brother Robert "Bud" Sefried & wife Faye of Belle Prairie, and a sister Bonnie Gray of Springerton, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Wayne Webb and both parents.

Funeral services for Betty Jane Webb will be held at 1 pm on Saturday May 26th, 2018 at Young Funeral Home in Wayne City, IL.

Visitation will be held from 5 pm until 8 pm on Friday May 25th, 2018 at Young Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Crouch Cemetery in Belle Prairie.
