Bryan David Kissner

Bryan David Kissner, 45, of Wayne City, IL passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL.  Bryan was born October 11, 1979 in Mt. Vernon, IL to David Kissner & Diana Kissner.

Bryan loved animals, especially cats and dogs.  He enjoyed walking his pet dogs, watching movies, and watching wrestling.  He also loved music, cooking, and helping his dad and uncle on the farm.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Bryan is survived by his mother Diana Kissner of Wayne City, IL; a brother Tony Rister of Fairfield, IL; his grandmother Melba Kissner of Wayne City, his aunt Janet Kissner of Wayne City, his uncle Marshall (Karen) Kissner of Wayne City, his aunt Linda Tibbs of Fairfield, 3 nieces: Kelsea (Shaun) Wadkins of Alabama, Kerri (George) Francis of Tennessee, and Tiffany Rister of Fairfield; and 4 cousins: Kevin (Rachel) Kissner of Wayne City, Jamie Wright of Geff, IL; Casey (Gabe) Venters of Fairfield, and Shaun Stone of Wayne City.

He was preceded in death by his father David Kissner, grandfather Roy Kissner, grandfather Ralph Stone, grandmother Jessie Stone, and uncle Edward Stone.

Funeral services for Bryan David Kissner will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Young Funeral Home in Wayne City, IL with Don Evans officiating.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Young Funeral Home.  Interment will follow the funeral service at Baltimore Cemetery, south of Wayne City.
