Carolyn Ann (Heise) Lawrence

Carolyn Ann Lawrence, 66, of Iuka, IL went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at her home in Iuka.  She was born on December 19, 1955 in Des Moines, IA the daughter of Denzel and Geraldine (Smith) Heise.

Carolyn was a retired after working for many years as an assembly worker at Airtex in Fairfield, IL.  She loved gardening, especially taking care of flowers and planting new varieties.  She enjoyed deer hunting and rock hunting, and being with nature.  She enjoyed being surrounded by God’s creation and she loved working and learning about what God gave her.  She was a member of the Poplar Creek Church.  She possessed a strong faith in the Lord, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Carolyn is survived by her husband James A. Lawrence of Iuka and her mother Geraldine Heise of Manson, IA who is 99 years old.

She was preceded in death by her father Denzel Heise and a sister Betty Heise.

Graveside funeral services for Carolyn Ann Lawrence will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Poplar Creek Cemetery near Orchardville, IL with Pastor Rick Forth officiating.  Those attending the services are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.  Online condolences, memories, and words of encouragement may be shared at www.youngfuneralhomellc.com
