David Roger Thomason

David Roger Thomason, 69, of Fairfield, IL passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN.

David was born May 13, 1953 in Fairfield, IL the son of Rufus and Helen Thomason.

David had many occupations over the years, including: carpenter, oil field worker, truck driver, working at various factories, and most recently worked for the Robertson Sawmill in Sims, IL.  He enjoyed carpentry, playing guitar, and enjoyed music.

David is survived by 3 sisters: Imogene Michael, Betty Boyd, and Linda (Gary) Rayburn; a brother Jerry (Judy) Thomason, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by both parents: Rufus Thomason and Helen L. (Anderson) Thomason, 2 sisters: Karen Garner and Vera Rutoski, and a brother Larry Thomason.

There will be no formal services for David Roger Thomason at this time.
