Dominic James Scott

Dominic James Scott was born sleeping on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL. 

Dominic is survived by his parents Austin & Jayla Scott and his sister Mia Scott of Wayne City, IL; grandparents Carlos & Shannon Pendleton of Orchardville, IL; grandmother Margaret Voyles of Greenville, IL; great-grandparents: Barbara McKinney of Wayne City, IL; Johnny & Sondra Scott of Collinsville, IL; and Kathy Voyles of Greenville, IL; aunt Joy Pendleton of Orchardville, IL; and 3 uncles: Jesse Pendleton of Orchardville, IL; Scott (Kristin) Voyles of Greenville, IL and Joey Scott of Lincoln, IL.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather Thomas Allen Voyles.  It is exciting to know that great-grandfather Tom is rocking our sweet baby boy, Dom, until we see him again.

Mom, Dad, and Sis love you sweet baby boy. 

Private family services will be held at a later date.  Memorial donations to assist with medical expenses may be made to the care of Austin & Jayla Scott, and will be accepted at Young Funeral Home in Wayne City, IL.
