Judy Ann (Gammon) Warren

Judy Ann (Gammon) Warren, 63, of Mt. Vernon, IL and formerly of Wayne City, IL passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at White Oak Nursing & Rehabilitation in Mt. Vernon, IL.

Judy was born February 15, 1960 in Rockford, IL the daughter of Johnce & Hester (Richards) Gammon.  She was a homemaker and a fan of St. Louis Cardinals baseball.  She loved her children and grandchildren, and was very proud of them.

Judy is survived by 2 daughters: Tanya Sodders (and Darris Finney) of Mt. Vernon, IL and Lacey Johnson (and Zach Etcheson) of Fairfield, IL, a son Rusty Warren of Mt. Vernon, IL; 6 grandchildren: William Bowsher, Landon Bowsher, Michael Stephenson, Aubrey Johnson, Reagan Johnson, and Sloan Etcheson; 3 brothers: Randy Gammon of Keenes, IL; Nick Gammon of Keenes, and Jay Gammon of Johnsonville, IL; and 2 sisters: Sherry Greene (and Terry Thompson) of Bluford, IL and Connie Sue Hurley of Missouri.

She was preceded in death by both parents: Johnce & Hester (Richards) Gammon, a brother Thomas Gammon, and a granddaughter Chloe Bowsher.

Funeral services for Judy Ann (Gammon) Warren will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Young Funeral Home in Wayne City, IL with Ron White officiating.  Visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 10 a.m. until 12 noon on Thursday at the funeral home.  Judy will be laid to rest following the funeral services at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses and may be made to Young Funeral Home in Wayne City, IL.
