LaDonna (McDonald) Jourdan

M. LaDonna (McDonald) Jourdan of Bluford, IL passed away at 9:40 AM on Thursday, October 20, 2022.

She was born in Centralia, IL on April 6, 1934, the daughter of Thomas and Anna (Garrison) McDonald.  On August 12, 1949, she married Albert Jourdan, who preceded her in death.  LaDonna was a homemaker, her favorite color was red and she enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, reading and spending time with family. “Love you most-est”.

LaDonna is survived by 2 daughters, Sheryl Meeker (husband Jeff) of Byron, IL and Patti Devine (husband Neal) of Huntley, IL; 3 grandchildren: Charles Parson (fiancé Pam Pierce) of Vergennes, IL; Amanda Meeker of Byron, IL and Jeremy Devine (wife Cristina) of Chicago, IL; 8 great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Kastle and Ryder Parson, Tristian Bucknell, and Addie, Ellie, Jose and Eli Pierce; 1 great-great grandson Bryar Parson, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by both parents Thomas and Anna McDonald, husband Albert Jourdan and 2 sisters Norma Tatro and Cordy Garner.

Visitation for LaDonna Jourdan will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on November 1, 2022, at Young Funeral Home in Wayne City, IL with Pastor Craig Smith officiating.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow the funeral service at Garrison Temple Cemetery of Bluford, IL.
