Marlene K. (Hunsberger) Wenger

Marlene K. Wenger, 987 County Hwy 13, Keenes, IL 62851 born April 20, 1968, died at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at the age of 57 years, 8 months, and 1 day.  She was a member of the Orchardville Mennonite Church.  Marlene enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and giving flowers to others.  She also enjoyed birdwatching & feeding birds, scrapbooking, making picture books for her family, quilting, and crafting.

She was the daughter of the late Millard G. & Marian L. (Moyer) Hunsberger, and the wife of Kenneth L. Wenger.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons: Sherwin (Rhonda) of Wayne City, IL; Lyndon (Janelle) of Xenia, IL; and Daryn, at home; two daughters: Wynelle (Michael) Burkholder of Benton, IL and Shari (David) Erb of Newmanstown, PA; 11 grandchildren, 1 brother Merle (Ruth) of Urbana, OH; 2 sisters: Julia (Steve) Jones of Myerstown, PA and Gloria (Paul) Ebersol of Chambersburg, PA.

She was preceded in death by a sister Eileen, wife of Leroy Miller of Myerstown, PA.

Funeral services for Marlene K. Wenger will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at the Orchardville Mennonite Church in Keenes, IL.  Visitation will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., followed by an intermission, and will resume from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Orchardville Mennonite Church.  Interment will follow the funeral service at the Orchardville Mennonite Cemetery adjacent to the church.
