Mary Elsie (Donoho) Bradford

Mary Elsie (Donoho) Bradford, 97, of Keenes, IL passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Baisch Nursing Center in DeSoto, MO.  Mary was born on February 28, 1926 in Keenes, IL to Wilbert & Lora (Youngblood) Donoho.  On December 30, 1950 she married Sam Bradford, who preceded her in death on December 24, 1997.

Mary was a farmer for many years, alongside her husband Sam.  She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening, and crafting.  She loved to visit the craft store in Wayne City to get new crafting supplies.  She was a member of the Garrison Temple Church near Keenes, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Bradford, her father Wilbert K. Donoho, her mother Lora (Youngblood) Donoho, a sister Vernele Karr, and a niece and goddaughter Kim Karr Ballew.

Funeral services for Mary Elsie (Donoho) Bradford will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Young Funeral Home in Wayne City, IL with Rev. Doug Haile officiating.  Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home.  Interment will follow the funeral service at Garrison Temple Cemetery near Keenes, IL.
