Ruth Marie (Johnson) Bullock

Ruth Marie (Johnson) Bullock, 80, of Wayne City, IL passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Integrity Healthcare in Marion, IL.

Ruth was born at home, south of Wayne City on June 17, 1944 to Logan & Sarah Johnson.  Ruth had worked as a seamstress, and she loved arts & crafts.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wayne City.

Ruth is survived by a daughter Lela Duay of Houston, TX; a son Darrell Bullock of Danville, AL; 3 grandchildren: Daniel, Marie, and Zach; 2 sisters: Eva Littlefield of Norris City, IL and Sue Woolever of Sims, IL; a brother Floyd Johnson of Marion, IL; a sister-in-law Patsy Johnson of Apple Valley, CA; and several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by both parents, 2 sisters: Bettie Miller and Rosemary Rawls, and 3 brothers: Robert Johnson, Donald Johnson, and Ronnie Johnson.

Funeral services for Ruth Marie (Johnson) Bullock will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Young Funeral Home in Wayne City with Rev. Richard McCormick officiating.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home.  Interment will follow the funeral service at Baltimore Cemetery.
